Baltic Junior Cup 2021 ställs in / The Baltic Junior Cup 2021 is cancelled

Arrangemangen flyttas till 28-30.10.2022.

Även i år tvingas Baltic Junior Cup (BJC) ställas in. Arrangörsklubben OK Raseborg har under de senaste åren arbetat intensivt för att kunna genomföra ett normalt Baltic Junior Cup genom olika lösningar. Pandemin sätter tyvärr ytterligare en gång stopp för tävlingarna, då deltagande nationer och regioner inte har möjlighet att resa till Finland på grund av de osäkra omständigheterna. Detta skulle leda till lågt deltagarantal och därmed har Finlands Svenska Orienteringsförbunds styrelse tillsammans med arrangörsföreningen beslutat den 25.8.2021 att, eftersom att alla inte kan delta på samma villkor och med säkerheten i åtanke, tävlingsarrangemangen ställs in.

Tävlingsarrangemangen flyttas till 28-30.10.2022. Arrangörsklubben OK Raseborg och Finlands Svenska Orienteringsförbund fortsätter med de långt planerade tävlingsplanerna.

Also this year, the Baltic Junior Cup (BJC) is forced to be cancelled. The organizing club OK Raseborg has in recent years worked intensively to be able to complete with different solutions a normal Baltic Junior Cup. But the pandemic has once again made the arranging of the competitions difficult, when participating nations and regions are not able to travel to Finland due to the uncertain circumstances. This would lead to a small number of participants and because of that FSOs board together with the organizing club have decided the 25th of august that, since not everyone can participate on the same terms and with safety in mind, the competition events will be cancelled.

The arrangements will be moved and held the 28-30 october in Tammisaari. OK Raseborg, the arranging club, and the Finnish Swedish Orienteering Federation will continue the long-planned competition plans.
